With two daughters who see the possibility in everything, our home has long been a place where offcuts, cardboard, fabric scraps and found treasures become something new. That shared love of making from anything and everything, is the heartbeat of Whimsy Disco.

Based in Kensington, Naarm, Whimsy Disco is a creative studio delivering vibrant, hands-on workshops and events for children, teens and adults. We champion circular creativity, using reclaimed and second-life materials to reduce waste while building skills, imagination and creative confidence.

Alongside our workshops, our shelves hold thousands of new and pre-loved books, rescued craft supplies, and a curated selection of ethical and local gifts. Part studio, part book nook, part treasure trove for makers of all ages.

Founded by Valentina, an artist by trade with extensive experience across corporate, large-scale events and community engagement, Whimsy Disco blends creative practice with commercial strength and thoughtful leadership. It is a space where colour meets conscience, where materials are given a second life, and where people of all ages feel welcome to experiment, connect and grow.
